FAQFrequently Asked QuestionsQ. How do I book? A. Once you notify us that you accept our quote and wish to make a firm booking we will forward an invoice, you pay a deposit and your booking is secure. Q. When do I pay for my ordered hire items? A. A non refundable deposit is payable as confirmation of your order with the balance plus bond due 7 days prior to pick up, delivery, or dispatch. Q. Do you take credit card and eftpos payments? A. At this stage we do not have facilities to accept credit card or eftpos payments. Payment by direct credit and cash are preferred. Cheque payments must be made in time for clearance at the bank, generally 10 days. Q. How long is the hire period, do I have to pay per day? A. Hire-age is for single use and for the agreed hire period. Q. When can I pick up the chair covers, table runners, table cloths and other items I have hired? A. Hired items can be picked up from 3061 Great North Road, New Lynn between 9am and 3pm, Mon, Thur, Fri or as pre-arranged. Q. When do I have to return the chair covers, vases etc? A. Return on the Monday after a weekend hire or the day after for a Monday – Thursday function. Q. Do I have to clean the chair covers, table cloths and napkins before I return them? A. Covers Hire takes care of all cleaning of the table linen and chair covers. Q. Can I try a chair cover on a chair at my venue? A. Yes sample covers are available for a 5 day trial period. Q. Do you courier to other places in New Zealand? A. We are happy to courier linens and carpets to towns and cities around NZ. Courier costs are at the hirer's expense. Q. Do you have a showroom? A. Yes our showroom is open Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-3pm or by appointment. Thursday Evening and Saturday appointments welcome. Q. What is considered damage? A. Minor food and drink stains on linens are acceptable and will not be charged for. More serious staining, marking, tears including but not limited to pen marks, crayon, foot prints on seat areas, burns, candle wax to linens will be considered damage and a replacement charge will be required. Glassware chipped, broken or seriously marked will be charged for replacement. |
